Biography
Ke Wei (China, 1998) develops a visionary, symbolic painting in which faces and figures become territories of introspection.
Through hybrids of human and animal, dense textures and intense palettes, the artist explores the fragmentation of identity, the conflict between reason and desire, and the search for an inner space of refuge and transformation. The work moves constantly between dream and reality, giving visible form to emotional and spiritual states that are normally invisible.
