The human body as an interface between biological perception and orbital technological systems.
Legislation of Dust develops an artistic framework based on Anti-Mapping, shifting coordinates away from Earth-centred systems of orientation and perception toward orbital infrastructures, where human knowledge becomes contingent rather than central.
Developed within the Xu Bing Space Art Residency Program and supported by SCA-3, the first Chinese art satellite, the project treats the satellite as a medium of production rather than an instrument of observation.
The exhibition unfolds across four chapters and twelve works. Neural activity, breath, movement and memory are translated into processes that extend into orbital space — the exhibition that opened hui.red/gallery, presented in the raw, unfinished space.
Four chapters, twelve works
Flesh Antenna
The body as a receptive site: a human antenna that registers and transmits signals beyond conscious awareness.

Metabolism of Entropy
Time, energy and meaning reduced to their material equivalents.

Planetary Diagnosis
Earth observed as a biological sample, through the eye of a satellite.

Void Legislation
Rules written in orbit: time discrepancies, blind oracles, language turned into pure signal.

Twelve interconnected works in the gallery’s raw, unfinished architecture — the incomplete space becomes part of the experience.
The artist
Interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of contemporary art, technology and cosmic systems. Her practice combines installation, algorithmic processes and speculative devices to investigate the relationships between the human body, data and the perception of the universe.
She teaches at the College of Sculpture and Public Art of the Hebei Academy of Fine Arts. Recent exhibitions include Algorithmic Bodies (Today Art Museum, Beijing, 2024) and Post-Human Narratives (Power Station of Art, Shanghai, 2024).
