Biography

Shi Li (b. 1990) graduated in Environmental Art and Design from Shenzhen University. She grew up in the old town of Nantou, in Shenzhen, and her work reflects the blend of local and multicultural influences typical of this dynamic, multi-ethnic city.

After years as an illustrator, she became an independent artist in 2018, moving towards contemporary art between 2023 and 2024. Marked by kinetic energy, fragmented forms and an expressionist visual language, her research starts from observing human relationships and arrives at a deeper exploration of existence, psychological conflict and emotional distortion.
