Biography

Mattia Sugamiele (Erice, 1984) lives and works in Milan. After training in audio-video production at IED Milano, he turned to painting, graduating in Visual Arts from the Accademia di Brera in 2016.

His research moves between photography, video and painting, with a playful, multi-material practice that blurs the line between the digital and the physical world. Sugamiele focuses on our relationship with technology, exploring connected, hybrid and dual lives between the real and the digital.
